The North Shore Vintage and Classic Car Club is one of the largest and most active classic vehicle clubs in the region. We welcome all cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks and commercials. The only requirement is that they must be at least 30 years old.

Vehicles of all nationality are welcome.

We have perhaps the most impressive grounds and facilities of any car club in the North Island. Our clubhouse is a large colonial villa, fully fitted kitchen, seating for up to 75 persons and climate controlled with a new integrated heat pump and ventilation system. Attached to the clubhouse is the old Albany jailhouse which now holds our impressive library of books, manuals and magazines.

In addition, we have four huge sheds housing a Spares Warehouse, a secure garage for members vehicles, a fully equipped restoration shed for club owned vehicles, a woodwork shop, a museum, and two fully fitted service bays for members own vehicles.

The club is open on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to work on the clubs or your own vehicles or perhaps just to pop along for a natter. Our Thursday morning 'Smoko' is legendary; coffee, teas, cakes, pies and sausage rolls provide the perfect environment for friendship and discussion. Wednesday evenings are set aside as a club night with occasional talks presentations and even movies. Again a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy the company.

At least once a month we organise a rally/run/event for club members. Some events are purely social runs to lunch, others are quite competitive, involving detailed and sometimes cryptic instructions. An interesting programme for you and your vehicles.

The branch produces a high quality members' magazine 11 times per year and this is delivered by email to members. In addition members also receive 6 printed copies of Beaded Wheels by post from our National Office. Copies of the branch 'Progress'  magazine are available for free download elsewhere on this site.
