The North Shore Vintage and Classic Car Club implements a $50.00 One-Off Amenities Charge (See below for detailed explanation) . By clicking the "Join Online" button below you agree to this Amenities Charge, which will be invoiced directly by this branch once we have received notification of you joining,
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
When clicking the "Join Now" button below, you will be transferred to the National VCC website in order to complete your application. At this moment there is an intermittent 'bug' on the National System whereby the North Shore Branch (Branch 13) is missed from the list of potential branches to join. If this occurs you may circumvent this issue by selecting the "Unsure" option and then use the "TITLE" Field to enter "Branch 13 North Shore". Your application will then be manually noted as a North Shore member.
We expect an early fix for this bug, but in the meantime please use this workaround.

​​​​AMENITIES CHARGE EXPLANATION
Over many years the North Shore Vintage and Classic Car Club has invested heavily in equipment and skills in order to offer members an unrivalled environment in which to enjoy their vehicles. Members are invited to take advantage of these facilities at their leisure. Our Amenities Charge is intended to make a small contribution to the maintenance and upgrade of our equipment and services. Our offerings include the following:

Free engraved Name Badges.

Secure, alarmed vehicle storage costing mush lower than commercial rates.

Personal Safety Equipment, Gloves, Ear Protectors, Eye Protectors all provided free of charge.

Free access to TWO four post lifts to service/work on your own vehicles.

Free secure ‘Members Bay’ to garage and service/repair your vehicle for up to one month (can be extended if no demand).

Free monthly branch magazine (electronic or posted if required).

Free use of club restoration equipment, including, MIG, Spot and Gas Welders, Metal Lathe, English Wheel, Guillotine, Bender, Shrinker/Stretcher, various grinders and polishers, full range of hand tools, taps/dies, pullers and many other restoration tools.

Media Blasting Cabinet for smaller items (Token charge required for personal work).

Twice weekly coffee mornings/Smokos with biscuits, pies and savouries (we ask for a voluntary gold coin donation for our Thursday Smoko.

Free access to rolling wheel brake tester…… Great for WoF preparation.

Weekly Wednesday evening discussion group, with occasional Talks, Quiz and Film nights.

Free advice, guidance and labour from a team of experienced vehicle enthusiasts who are more than happy to help members.

Monthly rally/events/trips organised by the branch. (External charges are passed on).

You don't have to own a Club eligible vehicle to join, however if you do have a car, below is the official classification of cars that are deemed to be 'eligible' as per the Club's guidelines

Veteran Vehicles - Motor Vehicles constructed prior to 31 December 1918.

Vintage Vehicles - Motor Vehicles constructed between 01 January 1919 and 31 January 1931

Post-Vintage Vehicles - Motor Vehicles constructed between 01 January 1932 and 31 December 1945

Post-War Vehicles - Motor Vehicles constructed between 01 January 1946 and 31 December 1960

Post 1960 Vehicles - Motor Vehicles constructed after 01 January 1961 provided that no vehicle is accepted for this class until January 01 of the year that is 30 years after its original year of construction

As of April 2025 the following membership types are available:

​Individual Member - $130 (full year) Individual membership is for an individual signing up for the VCC.

Joint Membership - $20 is for spouses and partners of a Member, or a dependent child of a Member up to twenty one (21) years of age, residing with that member, or temporarily residing away from that Member while attending an educational institution. Joint members do not receive their own copy of the club magazine ‘Beaded Wheels’, nor branch newsletters. Note - you will need to enter the member number of the Individual (main) member that the joint member lives with if you know it. If you are joining both an Individual member and a Joint member, please complete this form for the Individual member, then another for the joint member.

​Junior Member - $65 (full year) Junior Member – Any Member who is 21 or under, at 31st October this year, usually living away from parents (who may or may not be members), who pay 50% of the individual subscriptions. Junior members receive their own copy of the club magazine ‘Beaded Wheels’, and also branch newsletters.
